Returns and Order Information


What is your returns policy?

We hope you’ll love your merchandise but if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase (at full price), we will gladly accept your unworn/unwashed items within 30 days of the delivery date for US and Canada orders. Sale items and items purchased using a 30% discount code or above, are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return.

Eligible items must be returned in their original condition *not worn, washed or damaged* with all tags and liners attached in their original packaging.

To try on our garments we advise that you wear garments like underwear and do not remove the sanitary slip.

Due to health regulations, styles that are soiled, worn, damaged or laundered cannot be accepted. It is at Divergent Swimwear's discretion to determine if the returned suit has been soiled. If a suit is determined to be soiled, orders will not be accepted for a return or merchandise credit. Any soiled suits received by Divergent Swimwear cannot be sent back and will be damaged out.

All sale items, accessories, and clearance items are FINAL SALE, and cannot be returned. (This does not include our “Doll Ups”)

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed online cannot be returned to our retail locations. We do not accept returns for international orders outside of Canada. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.


If I make a mistake on my order, can I cancel or change it?

Once an order has been placed, we cannot change or cancel the order. Our warehouse processes the orders immediately. Please contact us immediately if changes are needed. We will do our best, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to make any changes.


How do I return or exchange an item?

We cannot accommodate exchanges at this time. Please return your full priced items for a refund, and place a new order for desired items.

To Start your return follow the directions below

  • Click the start my return button and fill in your email address and order number.
  • Once your return has been approved, you will receive a prepaid shipping label sent to you via email.
  • Prepare your box for return by legibly writing your return number on the outside of your package. Packages without a visible return number cannot be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: Merchandise must be returned within 10 days of receiving your order. Also please allow up to 10 business days from the receipt of your return to be processed. You will receive an email confirmation when complete. Once you receive your email indicating your return has been processed, you can expect to receive your credit in 3-5 business days.


Can I exchange Divergent Swimwear that I purchased at a boutique?

Orders placed online cannot be returned to our retail locations.


What if I received the wrong item?

While we hope there will be no mistakes in shipping your order if for any reason you receive the wrong item, simply return all items shipped to you by following our returns process. Once your return has been processed you may place a new order for your desired items.

What if I received a damaged item?

If for any reason you receive a damaged item, simply return the damaged item by following our returns process. Once your return has been processed you may place a new order for your desired items.
